Country Club

Last weekend we went up to SLC to visit with family. I was very excited to finally make it back to LCC, but it wasn't meant to be. For some strange reason the seasons decided to play a mean trick on me and dump a bunch of snow over the valley floor. Seriously, snow on April 29th! Well I decided not to let it get the best of me so I formed a plan. There are boulders on the benches above Draper known as the Country Club. They sit at a low elevation in area exposed to sunlight most the day, therefore they make a great plan B if mother nature decides to ruin plan A at LCC, BCC, or AF.

Tommy and I had fun playing around in the new area. We climbed a pretty neat V7 and some good easy stuff. We tried this crazy long roof that is so steep it angles downward. I don't know if it's been done from the very back of the cave. I figured it's about V11 or 12, but who knows?
