As promised, here are some somewhat recent pictures of the crew at the Wash. It's hard to keep up with all of these fun adventures! Next up we will have highlights of our trip to Vegas for the Reel Rock tour and bouldering at the Kraft boulders. Awesome times! Stoked for Joe's this coming weekend!

Attention World!
About an hour up Cedar Mountain lies a crag we have come to love. It is The Overlook. Here are a few reasons why:
1. It is beautiful.
2. It is close.
3. The temps are great when it is too warm elsewhere.
4. Fun climbs.
5. Did I mention it is beautiful?
6. (and most important!) Ali the machine Adair has been tearing it up!!
Here are a few (or more) pics to document it all. Enjoy.
What did I tell you? Gorgeous!

Good News!!
After quite a long break due to a broken wrist, surgery, marriage, change of job, etc., Tommy Rigby is back at it! To show he's about ready to pick up where he left off, Tomy recently jumped up off the couch, took a trip to Joe's Valley, and in just a few tries sent the ultra-classic highball Nerve Damage V6. I've never tried it myself (too scared), but they say the crux comes at over 18 feet! Tommy did it with just two pads and one spotter! Congrats! We're all excited to see what hard problems you'll throw down in the future!

Maple Canyon
Labor Day weekend is very convenient. It gives everybody much needed time off to focus on other important areas of their life. In our case we were able to make a trip to a little place called Maple Canyon. There we "labored" on sending our newest projects. Needless to say, it was a blast! I was quite surprised at the small size of the weekend crowd. I guess everybody went to Rifle? While it was very exciting to see everybody else climb, especially my wife, the highlight for me was a route called Sluggo in Box Canyon. I didn't quite send, but that's ok it just gives me a reason to go back.

Amen to everything Casey said. Maple was the best! I loved the climbing and loved seeing the people we love! Oh and taking pictures of those people! We love the new camera. Thank you mom and dad for the awesome wedding present! Without any further ado...here come the pictures! There are lots. You may need some refreshments. :)

On a Rope (Part 1)
This summer, as with many other climbers, the focus has been sport climbing. Our crew has been everywhere from Mt. Charleston to Mill Creek to Logan. However most of our time has been spent atop Cedar Mountain at the beautiful overlook. The view there is amazing and as a bonus the climbing is pretty good too. Although some sections are complete choss, many lines contain some of the most perfect rock faces I've seen. I'll try to get more pictures on soon.
