Browse Boulders

On Saturday we tried to escape the southern Utah heat by climbing at the Browse boulders. It is a really beautiful area established by Isaac Caldiero. We climbed on a few existing problems, and spent time exploring and putting up some new lines.

Winter in Southern Utah

We love Southern Utah, especially in the winter when the good climbing temperatures roll around! We have been spending time at Moes and a few newer local areas the last few months, keeping up the psych! I like pictures better than words, so here we go:

A few years ago I hopped on Device Ignitor left to give it a try, but chose to take a break from it until it was more in my league. This year I decided to give it another shot and was able to send after a few sessions. It is a really fun problem and I was super stoked to get my first v6!

Around Town

Casey started a job with an archeological surveying company, and I'm busy teaching again, so we've been spending most of our spare time bouldering at local areas. We are very content and having a blast at some new areas around the Wash and at Bunker Creek. 

Here are a few pictures from a day at the Springfield Area, Bunker Creek with Jens and Vonae.

 And here are a few from a new area we're checking out, the Sarsen Blocks, just past the wash.

This weekend we went back to the Springfield Area with Casey's family. Love this place!

The best news of the week is that we finally have 4 wheel drive and high clearance! Our new Jeep Liberty!

Wild Iris

Wild Iris is amazing!!! 

 Hundreds of pocketed routes lining the limestone cliffs!

We went on a beautiful hike through Sinks Canyon and slid off a waterfall on our rest day. Fun! 

We were so excited when Greg called halfway through the week and said he and Chelsea were coming to join us. They are great climbing company!

 The routes are SO good!! And there are so many!

We can't wait to make it back!
