Save the Date

Alright folks, whip out your calendars, grab a pencil and mark February 11th. We are going to have a cleaning/developing/bouldering day at Little Creek Canyon. It is just northeast of Paragonah and we are excited to get this place going! Casey and I went to check it out a few years ago and thought it looked pretty neat, but got distracted with life I guess. Casey went back a few weeks ago and we are stoked to get the ball rolling! Come join us for the adventure of a lifetime. The more the merrier. Bring your friends, your pads, any cleaning supplies you have, snacks, and a great attitude!

Casey's really excited about this:

And I can't wait to get my brushes and hands on this little guy. I could use a good tufa in my life.

Oh yeah, and maybe a prayer for good weather will be helpful too. Just in case. :)

And if you are traveling and need a place to stay we would be more than happy to host you!

Wishful Thinking

A few places I wouldn't mind being right now are:

Ibex
 Red Rocks (sunshine!)
Hurricane

 The Priestdraw
 Virgin Cave

I made all the pictures extra large so we can imagine being there just that much more. Not that I don't love Cedar City. And I'm grateful for my job. But there has been an awfully lot of tattling going on my life (oh the joys of first grade) and I could seriously use a trip!! Casey's finger has been injured since before Christmas so we haven't been getting out as much. He's a great sport and still comes to watch me climb inside during the week, but we could both use a big gulp of fresh air! I can't wait until my best buddy can climb again. Climbing is fun regardless, but I feel like Casey's successes are my successes too. So when we are both sending it is AWESOME! Even when we're not sending actually. We are so lucky. We really haven't traveled very far, and we have been on some really really fun trips!  Sorry there's nothing new and exciting to report. Hopefully in the near future.

The Real Spot

All I can say is I'm so excited about this!!  Great job Derek! The garage is amazing and we are very lucky to have a friend that supports us the way you do.  I'm feeling pretty good about being able to take my game to the next level now.  45 problems already, with room for more.  Everything from 4  move power problems to 20 move power endurance. 9 different angles to climb on from vertical to horizontal...and nice couches to sit on.  A Super Setup!  All it needs is a few more crash pads.  So if you know about any lying around, bring 'em on over.

 We take safety very seriously!

Tommy Crushing

Here's a nice video of Tommy climbing a couple of really cool problems at Red Rocks.  He also managed to send Timmy's Problem (V9), but we didn't get it on video. Sorry.
