Trying to beat the heat bouldering in Southern Utah can be tricky business in July. One place that we quite enjoy, besides the bushwacking and terrible road, is The Meadows at Bunker Creek. It is a beautiful area with new climbs for us. It obviously doesn't get trafficked...a lot of the old problems could use some cleaning, and some of the new ones could use some cleaning too! But there is a bunch of potential to climb fun stuff! At 9000 feet it's one of the few areas in Utah that is actually climbable at this point.
Casey's awesome proj. It will be one of the better/best boulder problems in the world (according to him...I can't climb hard enough to tell yet. But I trust his judgement.).
A little video we put together of some of our recent bushwacking adventures. Casey got the FA's on Cave Dwellers and Psychological Disorder.
